| June 13 - Lisa Eliot will be participating in the Relay for Life
June 20 - Nancy Cooper will be compete in an Ironman event in Lake Placid, an event that consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and a 26.2 mile run (or walk or crawl). This will take all of her strength and endurance, but she is giving her full commitment to this event, so that she will not only finish, but will also raise funds and awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
She is training in honor of Cami and also training in memory of those that we have lost, Kevin La Plant, Kati Fisher, Mike June, and Kamryn Lambert. I think of them often as I am training and I hope that one day, we will have a cure so no other families have to endure the loss of someone they so dearly loved and cherished.
