I fell remiss we haven’t provided any messages until now. But it seems each of you would or have completely understood that the process of moving on is a difficult one. Many of the things that were normal to our family are being done now with heavy hearts. Church, pool, school, the dinner table, parties, have all been a challenge at times. But I’m happy to say we are surviving as Cam would have wanted (I guess that’s called CAM POWER. Everyone who knew her will have their days and will run the gambit of emotions…but that’s OK.
We will continue to update the blog and upload pictures and upcoming events as we, friends, and family move CAM POWER forward. Everyone is welcome to send Cami messages on her website…don’t think she can’t hear you. She’s our angel and will always be with us.
I’ll say it again, the words “Thank You” don’t do justice to the humbling feeling you all have provided. The Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Benefit was a tremendous success. I heard someone state this weekend that a comment was made to him from a business executive at the event…”I can’t believe this (TTLS) was organized by friends and family…it’s as well done as any professionally run function I’ve ever been to”. So thanks to everyone involved…which were many, many people.
Right after TTLS, the Swim-A-Thon took place at area pools. Again many thanks and much love goes out to everyone who helped organize and participated.
We continue to get donations, cards, and letters. Please forgive us…but to this day we have not opened the cards. We plan to do so in the next week, but between emotions, travel for work, and graduations we just haven’t had the time or mindset. We will open and cherish every word. We plan to do so as a family and will send thank you’s soon. But please know how much we appreciate the out-pouring of love and support.
